What data we handle

• What you send through the contact form or by email: your name, email address and whatever you tell us yourself, such as your company, phone number, message and interests.
• The site server’s technical logs: IP address, browser details and the time of the visit. They are needed to keep the site working and secure.

What the data is used for

We use the data to answer you, make an offer and start working together. The processing is based on steps taken before a contract at your request (Article 6(1)(b) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation) and on our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to us (point (f)). Processing log data is based on our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and secure.

We don’t use your data for direct marketing, we don’t profile, and we don’t make automated decisions.

How long we keep the data

We keep contact details for at most 24 months after the last contact. If the contact leads to a client relationship, we keep the data for the duration of that relationship and afterward for as long as Finnish accounting law requires. Server logs are deleted according to the service provider’s retention period.

Who handles the data

Your data is handled by Vaganza’s own people. In addition, these service providers handle data on our behalf:

• Netlify: the site’s server and the contact form. Technical logs and what you send through the form go through it.
• Google (Google Workspace): the email where contact messages arrive.
• Adobe (Adobe Fonts): the site’s fonts. When your browser loads the fonts, it tells Adobe its IP address.

We don’t sell your data or give it to anyone else.

Transfers outside the EU

Netlify, Google and Adobe are US companies, so data may be transferred to the United States. They have committed to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has found to provide adequate protection.

Cookies

The site uses no cookies and doesn’t track visitors. That’s also why we don’t ask about cookies.

Links to other services

The site has links to LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube. When you go to them, their own privacy policies apply.

Your rights

You have the right to know what data we hold about you and to ask for it to be corrected or deleted. You can also object to the processing, ask for it to be restricted and receive the data you gave us in a machine-readable form. Send your request to info@vaganza.fi. We answer within a month.

If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you can file a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
